  1. thanks for all the warm welcomes and advice! im pretty impressed/happy about all the open invitations so far ive looked through the classifieds, seeing what my options are. there seems to be some quality options for a decent price. i do want to find one as close to stock as possible. i dont know enough about these to buy a modified quest and have no idea whats been modified. i also might try to throw her around an auto-x course once or twice. ive run most of my cars through a course every once and a while. most of the kiddies are meant to be run and thats what i do. i think the quest could really do some damage in gstock not saying its impossible, but i would be hard-pressed to get rid of one of my current cars. ive been aiming toward this kind of stable for quite a stint of time. then again, as mentioned, i might get addicted and sell all my cars to buy 4 quests! ha! i dont think theres any direct relation to the HBO show. -but i could sound a lot cooler and tell you they saw how interesting i was and modeled the show after my everyday life, and youd be no worse for the wear i sure hope it wasnt my TJ that you pulled out of a ditch! ive noticed multiple references to mpi. this would be a standalone engine management system, a type of induction system? whats the dealio hah whaaat? thanks! thats a lot of same-model cars! yeah i really dig the 4-motion passats (i dream about converting my gli to a 4-motion haldex) florence y'all! are there any meets in this general region? any of the ohio/tucky people get together? haha i know about the institution imports. a local club of which im a member has plenty of those!

  5. hey guys/gals recently signed into a new membership so here’s my introduction I’ve been a car guy for quite a few years now, most of which have been spent with german cars. I’m a vw/audi/bmw guy at heart, but would love to get to know more about the conquest! i was recently introduced to the car (scary right!) and the cult of a following called sqc  i don’t have one (yet), but after some time getting to know the model and its rich history, ill be picking up a quest and loving the glorified state of starquest ownership (my wallet might not ). ive lurked the boards on and off for a while and I’m really impressed by the quality of membership and the camaraderie that seems so affluent throughout the board. looking forward to meeting some good people and talkin’ cars  i don’t have my camera with me, but here’s at least a few pics of what my cars look like http://www.lukelehman.com/GLIMPSE/Jetta.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v178/tamashi523/bimmer2.jpg http://media.motortopia.com/files/5490/vehicle/461b4c2b36069/eos082405_062_Largesized.jpg http://andersonautofinders.com/resources/Green%20Rubicon.JPG sorry i forgot the most important part! im J and im from cincinnati
