Thanks for the info. I am reading over that link right now. I am scheduled to look the car over Saturday afternoon. hopefully it all works out. My main concerns are mechanical and rust. Trim and cosmetics are not as important to me. How easy are these cars to work on? I have moderate mechanical skills but I am a quick learner. I also have most common hand tools. Hi, my name is Zack. I have the opportunity to trade my sport bike for an 87 conquest tsi. I know nothing about these cars, except that I love their widebody styling. What should I be looking for? What are red flags I want to stay away from? Where are the usual rust and unusual rust spots to look out for? Also, does anyone track these cars? I set out to look for a track capable car.
