Hey guys, ms1 v2.2 tbi swap on a mighty Max, 1 out of 10 times when you step into it there is a feeling that it feels like you took your foot off the gas and back on..

Most of the time it does not do it, but it's very abrupt when it does ..

I read a few years ago that it was a soft ware issue but can't find the link to any more, any one experience this?

There are a ton of different factors to a question like this. Do you have a log of this happening?

1987 Flatty Starion -- Widebody Conversion -- V-Mount Setup --  JDL Tubular Manifold  --  MX-6 Intake -- MS3-Pro -- AEM FPR  --  ARP head studs -- 3" hood exit exhaust -- Hahn Racecraft 16g --  Tial F38 Wastegate -- Tial Q Bov -- Short route piping -- 5 lug & LSD conversion -- Tubular Front End -- Manual Steering Rack Conversion -- Manual Brake Conversion -- Stack Digital Dash -- AEM UEGO -- D2 coilovers -- full GNT poly bushings & mounts -- four 8" rears -- car lightened significantly...  More to come!

How are you going about making logs? Do you have the ability to connect a laptop to your ecu and use that to create datalogs each time you drive it?

Is it possible for you to just start logging anytime you drive the vehicle and then when it happens you can hold onto that log and post it here?

Sure dude, as long as its in a format tunerstudio can actually read I MIGHT be able to notice a problem. Posting it here on the forum means others who probably have plenty of experience could also look at it.

Something is cutting fuel, it went from pulse width 9 mS to 1.5 mS, then back to 9 mS.  I can't see any rational reason in the tune file, I'd turn off the over run and see if it happens again.  Yes I know over run shouldn't have kicked in but I always turn off over run in any tune file I see, it generally causes more problems than it solves.

Thank you so much for looking at it I will be at the truck tomorrow and I will make that adjustment and see what happens

Like I said it's kind of odd it doesn't happen all the time only randomly but maybe I'll try and do some more data logging to

Update, turned off overrun and still does it :(

It only started doing it since i went to staged injection, before i was running both at the same time and did not have any problems..

I was thinking overrun at first, but your coolant temp was under overrun setting.
But, your ASE setting is set to fixed map, which shouldn't cause a problem, but it goes to normal map over 122, so I'd try changing that to normal map and see what happens. {edit/I see thats only for 5 seconds}
It doesn't directly correlate, but I'd see what it does.
Also/or, try messing with the second parameter on the staged injection, it's at 100kpa now, try raising it some.
Maybe try turning rev cut to spark only and see what happens.

Also, on my older MS setup, there was a bridge that every time I went under it, my MS acted funny. There was a huge transformer causing crazy electronic noise freaking it out.
So rule out if it happens around the same place on earth vs temperature vs time.
