mechengrkj
Just got a oil pressure gauge and had a question about hooking it up. It is an electric gauge and came with a sending unit. Where is the best location to hook it up? I figure I will probably need to find a fitting that I can use to tee in the sending unit. Any suggestions/tips on doing this? Shelby
most times after market oil gauges use 12 volts,, almost no factory gauges use 12 volts,, they all use a step down voltage control of some type,, don't mix and match factory and aftermarket stuff

I am simply using an adapter to put both oil sending units in the stock location.
Shelby
not a real good idea,, the oem sending unit is very heavy,, adding another sender and using an adaptor can lead to the fiting failing due to weight and vibration ,,best to use the alternate location for 2'd sender

Where would be a good second location?
