I will miss the SS, but we have always wanted a Lightning and this truck just kinda fell into our lap. All the 03-04 cobra guys are getting crazy gains just from the blower swap. Anyway nice truck, ive always want a t56 swapped one with those mods that thing for sure scoots! Taz Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 Thanks Guys! The Hotchkis TVS for this truck is Coils, Sways and Leaf Springs. Should give it a nice drop and when the Stiffler Brace is added, it should be fun in the turns. We're thinking that the Eaton might already be ported, because it SCREAMS. It's a lot louder than other Lightnings that we have been around. Honestly our next step is to get it on a dyno, get rid of the Diablo crap, and get a good SCT tune in it. It came with a really old Predator and there are 5 different tunes in it. Among those tunes were "87 Low boost" and "87 High boost". So all of that has to go and it needs a good safe tune. Taz Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 When we got the SS we really needed something that could haul more than 2 people and someyhing that would be good in the winter. But now that I have the 4 door wrangler, we really have no need for the extra cab or AWD anymore. This truck was owned by a kid and is pretty riced out.
