My friend is offering me a trade for my quest. The 240z would be a stock white one and my car has a 3 inch exhaust, SHP front rims, rebuilt engine, and an 88 ecu. I'm not sure if I'm ready to part with my car but but the 240z is nice. Opinions?

Put money into a 240z and you will get it back(assuming you restore it to oem), put money into a starion.... we know what happens

My dad just bought a 240z for an incredible deal, its bone stock and needs restoration but it runs strong. Not nearly as fast as my starion, doesnt handle as good, interior is a bit basic compared(I really enjoy sitting in my car). But the aftermarket for 240z's is incredible in comparison to starquests.

What year 240Z? They are rare BTW. 1st year 70 1/2 I believe? Any prior to the switch over to ZX, which the last year Z; the 280Z in 1978, would be the best year made. It's kinda like our 89'. Best options, which were few, running, handling. I had (1), customized from the time it left the car carrier. SSWeet ride! Even the 78' was sparse compared to our StarQuests though. If you're not taking it, (the trade, I might be interested, for (1) of mine? As I said, the 280Z (78') is alot better than the 240Z. GL ;)

I'd jump on it. A nice 240z down here will pull $10k pretty easy. How often you see SQs sell for $10k? The older the Z, the more collectible they are becoming. What's a $10k car now, might be a $13-15k car in 5 years.

You'll have an easier time finding another SQ to build for relatively cheap than you will finding another solid 240Z.
