  1. Hi there - Sorry yes it is. I haven't checked in here often as I should.
  2. Hey Kev, That is my intention at this point. I hate to get out of any of it but I can't find time for the wrench these days. E
  3. Hey kids I need to sell out. This is a one owner car but before you get too excited it needs a lot of work. I know I won't get to it. Just a little history this car was on the showroom floor at Koons Chrysler/Plymouth in Tysons Corner VA. I had to test drive a red car on the lot but bought this one in April 1987. I don't know that another person has actually ever driven this car except maybe a local mechanic that had it for a few days before I found SQC. Unfortunately it has significant rust including the drivers frame rail. This was always a highly reliable car that idled rock steady for me. Everything goes as a package. No parting. I hope to find someone who wants to give my car a second life. It is pretty much stock except for an 88-89 ecu and high volume fuel pump. I have two engines, the original I swapped out for one I built really only needed freshening up and re-ringed at the time. It may have some cyl rust as it sits today but not horrible. The second engine was bored 30 over and all new but began smoking at about 15K. Must not have had my oil cooler as flushed as I thought. It has an ACT clutch which was fantastic for a driver, and a Pagemo adjustable cam gear. Various parts: Spare 5 speed trans, spare diff, one stock JV head, one clearwater head, 12a turbos, AC, airboxes and fans, Mookeeh rear struts NIB, same spare interior parts, and a complete black carpet set. Can't recall everything, but the entire car is here plus some. Single DIN Alpine head unit. Complete FSM set (well worn) including electrical, original window sticker, clean title. Floor mats, rear hatch cover, and hood insulator. I'll put a price of $2500 on everything because I have to but any reasonable offer is welcome. I'm in Northern VA 22150 Cheers - Edde
  4. Darn sorry to hear. I didn't know him but remember all of the older guys fondly.
  5. So funny that car does go waay back. I might have even seen it in person in Richmond once like 2005 ish. The years sort of run together now. 😜
  6. Good to see you old boy. The old days are gone. The old guys aren't.
  7. I had a set of tires that roared once. It was so unbelievable it took me forever to figure it out. I checked all the other stuff first.
  8. I've seen this exact thing with the boost guage swinging with a bad MAS.
  9. My packing slip says Arrow Speed warehouse but I don't recall that name at all. This is from 2006 so... Listing- Starion 87-89 HD Mod Street K Disc - 2000204 Modified Street Disc RX7 Turbo PP - MZ010 ACT HD pp, 87-91 RX7 Turbo Pilot - PB1002 Bearing Acura/Honda/Mazda RB422 Throwout bearing There was also an alignment tool in the kit. I like the heavy plate coupled with drive ability of the regular style disc. I'm sure I could run a lot more power on it than I am.
  10. I have an ACT heavy duty of some sort with a regular disc and I love it. I'd have to look in my files to see where i got it.
  11. I can easily imagine smoking while on 02. I could be that person. One has to give themselves permission to be ok without it before realizing it IS a choice and nothing more..
  12. Sometimes it's the little things ain't it?
  13. And open the throttle body all the way. You doing it cold or warm?
  14. Funny how it came in for a clutch, owner never showed, but the tranny is still out.
