  1. Sorry for the super late reply. In California near San Jose, I've been looking to have my engine rebuilt
  2. We all like to work on our cars ourselves, but sometimes we don't have the time or tools to do so. Sometimes it's easier to just bring it into a shop. Searching online for a local place that knows Starions and Conquests is basicly fruitless. Perhaps you own or work at one, or have good word about a G54b guru somewhere. What are shops in your area that you're confident in bringing your car into? edit: It's great that you take pride in working on your car yourself, but if you're here to tout how much money you saved on labor costs and talk about how it's "really not that hard" (with your full tool set, engine lift, and spacious garage)... Don't be that guy
  3. i just read this whole entire thread... excellent write up
  4. 225/50-16 245/45-16 SHP tire sizes. about an inch wider with diameters not far from non-SHP this website is pretty helpful: http://www.willtheyfit.com/
  5. I bought a pair of SHP 9's + tires from Rob. good honest guy. it would've been a solid transaction but there was plenty of delay (good thing i wasn't in a rush) & making two payments wasn't needed, if only he had calculated the shipping cost at the start. I'd buy something from Rob again
  6. there's nothing like the feel of driving on a crispy, comfortably cool night
  7. i'm looking for a pair but if the deal's right i may consider a set. but yeah let me know if so, it'd be much appreciated
  8. more info and pics: http://www.jdmeuro.com/mitsubishi-starion-gsr-iii-14x10-ssr-mk-iii-japan/
  9. it's great to see this car on some old school jdm wheels
  10. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b87/Jahambo/wheel_stance.jpg rear 8"s (-10 offset) up front on 225/50-16 Toyo Proxes 4 SHP 9"s and 25mm spacers (combined -25 offset) on 225/50-16 Yokohoma S. Drive reason for edit: mentioned tire brand
  11. any condition, pm me pics and we can negotiate a price located in san jose, ca i can do paypal
  12. the scene is called USJDM -- styling the car to be like it's in America. kinda like how there are fans of JDM here. it would be awesome to drive around Japan in a Conquest, US plates and everything
