89andBlue
Just wanted to see what others have to say. As we all know, there is an indefinite list of reasons for the car being as special as it is. I personally love them because they're so unique cosmetically and mechanically. There's just nothing else quite like em. Anyway tell me about your passion. Edited November 4, 2015 by 89andBlue

techboy
After having an Eclipse for so long (which everybody and their mother had), I was really drawn to the rarity of the car, and the challenges that come with building something like that. I've always been drawn to stuff like that - like the Omni GLH-S, Galant VR-4, Mustang SVO ... the list goes on.

Amonje123
I like them for a lot of reasons. First off the widebody caught my eye loved it the moment I first laid eyes on one back in 2011 and was like what kind of car was that lol. Got one the same year. There not expensive, reliable, very easy to fix and maintain. Nobody has them and wonders what it is and names all the other cars but what it really is. And with some mods they put down some power
kev
The overall package...great mix of performance, style, and comfort. Also you don't see them everyday, even when they were new. Back in the 80s, if you just sat yourself in a mustang, Camaro, 300zx, supra, starion, etc. you wanted the starion. It just stood out from them all. But I guess nowadays I like them because it reminds me of being young. There hasn't been a day of not owning at least one starquest since I was 15 (I'm 38 now). Funny how that works. When you are young you strive for the latest and greatest thing, when you get older you want what you had or wish you had when you were a kid. Shaky
I'm all about the '90's turbo cars. Have a '95 single turbo 6-speed Supra and '95 turbo mr2. I also have a '89 stock Conquest that I love driving. The Conquest handles great, love the widebody look and never see any of them where I live. When the 2.6 liter gives out, I'm at 123k, I'm going to do a 2jz swap since I'm really familiar with them and they sound so good compared to any 4 cyl. I'd really like to keep the stock 5-speed, its shifts so nice. Does anyone know if there is an adapter to use 2jz and stock Conquest tranny? From what I've read the r154 is really notchy and getting expensive to find and the w58 just won't hold the power, the v160 is stupid expensive and probably won't fit anyway. TexasQuest
No adapter plates for a KM132 for any motor that I know of. I think the widebody SQ is one of the sexiest looking cars ever made. Also I like having something unique and the challenge of finding parts and keeping her going.
