CarlosFley
Hey guys. I'm trying to decide between D2's and air bags. Haven't really looked into bags, but it's something I've seen done on other cars and I was wondering if anyone's ever done it to their Quest. Also, if anyone is into that whole HellaFlush movement and owns a slammed and tucked StarQuest, I'd love to see some pics. Help a brotha out. D_Venable
I know of 1 SQ that's been bagged, That was Elkidmino's old car, it has since been dismantled and scrapped (rust). My eventual plan for my Durban is to bag it. I've got some 18x12's for out back, and still need to get the matching 18x10's though. -Derek
MotoCam360
Bag it man!!! There's lots of D2 SQ around, but nobody has bags these days. I was considering doing it to one of my cars over the winter. I guess it all boils down to what you're going to do with the car, but bags would definitely be unique

patra_is_here
Here's onehttp://www.speedhunt...ubishi_starion/ hey thats my car when it was two-tone!! also, here's it when it's undrivably low http://farm2.staticflickr.com/1380/5115218360_0c49a898d6.jpg meaning, the wheels are hitting the upper unibody supports Edited November 12, 2013 by patra_is_here
patra_is_here
btw, bagging a starion to lay frame is gonna take a LOT of work. not easy to get these cars that low. even the car with air bags didn't go lower than some of us run on coil overs
MotoCam360
Good point about the bags and how low you can go. Also, the front "half frame" sections of these cars are not that strong and usually rust out (especially east coast cars), so you would definitely need some bump stops in your design to minimize the impact to these areas when you "drop it like it's hot"
patra_is_here
yeah or section them and then reinforce them.

Starion86ESI
There was a video of Elkidmino's bags somewhere around youtube. And in my honest opinion it didn't go very low. I have seen people with D2's wayyyyyyy lower. And I know who currently has the fenders off that car lol. CarlosFley
Everyone has some sick cars. But I still fail to see any truly "tucked" Quests. I'm talking stretched tires that are literally tucked inside the fenders. Why is this? Is it just not possible with our cars? Who has the most slammed Quest? Weird question maybe, but I am curious. starquestJOE
Inner wheel wells is the problem. I would have bagged my car by now but without alot of work, it just won't be that low. I'm looking into running bags on my D2's. I've bein as low as my rim/tire combo will let me, 17x9.5/245/45/17 & 17x11/275/45/
