  1. I don't currently have a starquest but i have owned a few and would like to get back intot the scene. I have always loved these cars so i'm in the market to getting one so i would consider myself a buyer. i would like to post my questions here so you don't keep getting repeat questions. i am going to ask some questions if you don't mind before i decide to even look at your car. 1. how long have you owned it? 2. since you have owned it beisides the head & exhaust what else it modded or added? 3. how much money would you say you invested in repairing/modding the car? This gives me an idea how stong the car runs or if its been though hell and back. 4. another question about the front end damage...also i see the lower lip is peeling indication that it has been replaced, repaired and repainted. Have you personally carfax this car and know there is no prior accidents before you bought it. 5. asking for $5,550 is great but i would expect an immaculate car with no car damage and paint in good condition, no subframe damage, clean engine bay, and being its a SHP car it should have all the OEM struts and 8 & 9 rims. I have seen other cars posted here that are at $4600 that don't even have any major dingswith decent paint with pictures of the engine bay and interior looking spotless. I'm not trying to low ball but just saying if your asking that much your car should be immaculate.
  2. I had the same grinding noise and found my started to be bad. when you remove the started...check to see if you can wiggle the gear side to side. If it moves more that 1/2 in then the bearing went out and it cannot catch the flywheel causing that nasty grinding sound. I would keep the OEM if possible and just replace the bearing but if you want your car up and running now you can get rebuilt one but they don't last as long as the OEM ones becasue of the bearings going out.
  3. i think i want to do this since my car seems loud in the inside
  4. WOW NICE!!! I wish i could buy them
