If I change the color to Black - Pink just isnt going to happen am I going to regret it you think later on? Its just a more work to change a color I'd really rather not. I also understand the Atlantic Blue color is quite rare. I have mostly only seen, Red, Black and Yellow and sometimes like an bright blue its not the same as this color..... I had never seen one this color until I purchased this one. I do respect keeping the car stock with some nice upgrades, I also know it will keep its value better if I keep it original color.
Any thoughts...
thanks

Changing the color correctly takes more than anyone thinks and the cost by a professional company will show it.
I, myself have painted a few cars and a bunch of bikes. Others on the site do it for a living.
Keep it original.
If she wants a pink car, go hop up a honda and paint it pink. You'll find parts more readily available. Especially, after it gets wrecked. Yes I said it.

don’t paint that car pink. Buy an 87 red car (most common year/color combo ever) and have at it... but a b71 Atlantic blue car... no... never... very unique color.
JUST DONT!

Like others have said too. Changing the color correctly is VERY time consuming. I've been working on repainting my car the same color for over a year now. Givin there were some rust issues to deal with so that took a lot of work, but it's no fun

I think we are going to play around with the wheel colors a little perhaps lght gray or white with a hot pink outlined in black and then doing some vyinl striping or graphics that can easily come off. I've looked at some color palettes for slate blue and pinks and whites seem to match some I'm sure can come up with something.
I've started to pull off the trim bumpers to get ready to paint. I found the inner front bumper is in pretty sad shape. Not sure if that's a readily available part to source but if it's inexpensive I need to locate one. Either that or I'll have to sand last and then fab up some ears so that the bumper can be bolted back in. Basically all the bottom is rotted out.

Probably just going to end up having to fab repair.
