  1. DGAF, It would be impossible for me to find the VIN , I sold it back in 2008 [?] I think. Either way, good luck on making it show quality. The car looks nice. As for the guy who asked me if someone wanted to trade me a slammed BMW. I don't recall anyone trying to trade me for a BMW. People offered me a Cop Car [Crown Vic ex Cop Car], a 240z with a V8 in it, and a slew of other cars that weren't desirable.
  2. Naw, mine wasn't an SHP. The car I bought was from an original owner who lived in CA. Kelly never owned my car, but I did buy a crap ton of stuff from him. The seats look very similar to mine, perhaps my old car got wrecked and someone bought those seats? I didn't have any dents in the car but who knows what the next owner did to it. It's been a mystery to me ever since.
  3. There's a slight possibility it is my old car. The person who bought it took it to Oregon, not Washington..but then again the car could have moved around. The seats look just like my old car's, but the shiftboot isn't the same. If it is my old car then I have no idea why they would remove the engine and transmission? I had a brand new stage 3 clutch on it and the engine worked fine. Did it have an AFC Neo? I never put those speakers on, and my engine bay wasn't stock. I also had a S16G mated with a 12a housing. If this is my old car, then wow. Time sure flies. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04160.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04155.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04156.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04152.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04157.jpg
  4. I had a bilateral inguinal hernia surgery [that means I had two right next to eachother]. It sucked, and it took about 3 weeks for it to feel "all right". It'll take a month or more to feel somewhat normal. Take it easy and take a lot of rest. The AF paid for my surgery and also gave me like 50 Percocets.. you're going to need every bit of med to not feel the pain. Anyway, it's not horrendous, but you will feel bad for a few weeks. Try not to do any activities that will cause you pain in the abdomen area. Good luck!
  5. I sent you an e-mail about it. I might be interested, but if I do get it, I'll have to make arrangements for my brother to pick it up.
  6. My 95 did 11.6 on the 1/4, and it was without any weight saving. Still had working A/C and everything. 3/@S's can be beasts.. but it just depends on how much you want to spend on them. It's an expensive hobby. With the amount of money I put into mods, I could've bought 2-3 nice clean Starions.
  7. Damn it. I'd love to buy this car but I'm not even in the same country. GLWS.
  8. I don't remember his name, he was an older white gentleman. He said his daughter owns 3 other SQ's. Hopefully she didn't crash it. That would've been a fail.
  9. The guy in California was me.. and I'm not white. LOL. Scotty, I am in Germany for 3 years. I'm not a translator or linguist, I'm in the AF doing something else. I'm thinking about buying another SQ when I come back, but will do things a lot different this time. For the mean time, my plans are to get an Skyline GTR R32 and bring it back to the states when I come back.
  10. It's been a long time since I've sold my car... when I say long, I think [if I recall correctly], I sold it back in 2008. An older gentleman drove from Portland, Oregon all the way to my town in California to pick it up. He brought a trailer so he could haul the car back [though the car was in perfect running condition]. He purchased the car from me for his daughter who he said owned 3 other Starquests. From time to time, I think about the car and how much work I've put into it to get it to where it was. I just hope she didn't crash the car. Anyway, if any of you people in Oregon have seen an 88 Quest with a rear louver, with noticably redone interior then let me know. Perhaps some day I can just buy the darn thing back! Lol Here's some old pics of it. -tear drop- Nostalgia. Pardon the stickers, they were removed and the 83 hood was replaced with a matching red 83 hood. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04156.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04155.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04154.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04151.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04152.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04153.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04160.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y182/acidagent/DSC04157.jpg Perhaps some day when I return the US [stationed in Germany now] I'll buy another SQ. Until then, I can just remember how fun it was to drive these cars!
  11. I was watching the "The Blair Witch Project" a couple nights ago and noticed that one of the characters owned a car that looked like a Starion. Can anyone confirm this? I could be mistaken but it looked a lot like a Starquest. Any way, been a long time since I've last posted here. Hope all is well.
  12. I'm pushing over 400awhp.. are you?
  13. Don't be an a-hole. Just give me the car. :x j/p
  14. Whoops.. forgot nobody is from California who owns a SQ. LOL
