  1. Because of the fact that I have a garage full of parts at my disposal and I only paid $800 for the car.
  2. Not that I know of? It was my understanding that these were the most common of the Starquests.
  3. Hi! Not sure if I'm posting this in the right area, but here goes! I'm picking up a Non-Intercooled 1987 Conquest Flatside this Saturday and I had some questions about IC & BOV Installation. First off, this isn't my first turbo car or turbo project. I've built quite a few snail fed cars and bikes. What's the ideal size IC for this car in stock form running factory boost levels (other than stock ESi/TSi IC's)? Will the non-intercooled engine suffer from poor boost response after an IC install??? As far as BOV's go, I understand that this car doesn't come with one from the factory, and that it's a MAFs fuel system. Now, with it being a MSFs system, will the bypass valve have to be a recirculating type or can an open air BOV be used? If an open air BOV is installed will the car suffer idle problems etc? I'm not looking for any HP gains from the IC or the addition of a BOV. What I'm shooting for is a reliable set-up that would help prolong the life of the engine. Thanks!
