  1. with work yes. what would be best would be this http://www.ebay.com....=item43b6135ae9 r if we can fine the part number for the bell unless you use this adater http://6g72rwd.forumcircle.com/viewtopic.php?t=35
  2. you could email ed@v-eight.com or go to there sites http://www.v-eight.com/links.html but I would talk with bill h. he will make just about anything
  3. This adapter plate will take you from aisin auto to 5 speed http://6g72rwd.forumcircle.com/viewtopic.php?t=35 Cd009 350z 6speed 05+ they have been known to hold 1200rwhp stock.
  4. All there autos were aisin same with the 04-06 kia. The aisin auto and manual bolt pattern is different. But at least it gives us a bell. I would like to use cd009. But time will tell all in good fun
  5. I don't believe the Montero 5 speeds(4x4 or rwd) pre 2000 were aisin's you might be better off using this http://6g72rwd.forumcircle.com/viewtopic.php?t=35 or have bill h http://billsautofab.com/recent_mit.asp make you one
  6. the MM 6g72 was auto 4x4 only/ montero sport there was 2 5 speeds 4g64 rwd. or the 6g72 4x4. the trans codes your looking for are r5m31 r5m41. going to be vary tuff to fine 1 in the us. unless yu order from a dealer that can order non usdm parts. or jump on the AU ebay site. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MITSUBISHI-TRITON-ML-3-5I-5-SPEED-MANUAL-2WD-GEARBOX-06-2006-08-2009-/290817530601?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item43b6135ae9 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/mitsubishi-mk-triton-3-0-v6-5-speed-manual-gearbox-transmission-6g72-2wd-/111436292325?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19f21ee0e5 this will gave you a idea the 1st one is a aisin box looks to be a AR-5. you can get these from small gm trucks/ toyota trucks. i no longer have mitsubishi CAPS if you can order a bell from mitsu. it would be ez bolt on trans.
  7. the MM v6 was auto only. i belive all the monteros 5 speed here in the us are 4wd. i do know theres a 6g7x aisin rwd. 5 speed i belive its the ar-5 but its not here in the us. some mitsub dealers can order over seas parts but you need the part # to order. after that nexted best is pick a trans and have bill h make a custom bell.
  8. the TT manifold will bolt on the heads. the isuue is space not sure if the (front) moved over to the driver side would clair the engine mount. the late model montero and 04-06 kias but used aisin auto boxes. a340. so a toyota auto trans will work with a 6g7x bell.
  9. you can also fine 6g in these cars http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Sigma_engine kia and hyi. the ezest swap would be the 04-06 kia sorento or 94-97 mitsubishi montero sr for rwd dohc set up. ive spent time looking itno this. ive had a few 3000gt vr4. in the 500-700+ hp range. looks like you can use stock turbo manifolds as well jus need to filp sides. and you can use any upper intake manifold you wish. the xg350 looks to be best. and or this http://www.xcessivemanufacturing.com/ONLINESTORE.html?cid=45&step=2. good luck with build
  10. you can get a 5 speed from a Mitsubishi Triton/ Pajero from down under. after 06 i belive they use a aisin 5 speed might want to look up the part number on the bell. and use a gm aisin 5 speed. also the 04-06 kia Sorento 5 speed, they use a 6g74.
  11. w58 is good till about 400hp r154 is much stronger. you might want to look at the s13/14/15 trans z32 z33 (cd009) the last 2 being the strongest and theres kits for them
  12. has anyone looked in to this i see both cars are 68.7 wide. or at least have one to measure? with the 1jz 2jz and even 1uz swap being more and more and you add power rack steering as well. ive searched but couldnt fine any info.
  13. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=131241304128&alt=web
  14. some people up the black cover and use this http://www.courtesyparts.com/xterra-parts-wd22-2000-2004/genuine-nissan-parts/power-train/328-transmission-shift-control/-c-532_14_115_492.html http://www.clublexus.com/forums/performance-and-maintenance/630367-350z-trans-adapter-28.html
  15. can you get better pics of the engine mount? or do your best to explain it almost looks like you mount it to the frame rail
