importwarrior
i have been gathering parts for the MPI conversion and can not rememberwhat to do about the fuel pump hole with the magna intake?i cannot remember if you double up on gaskets or what to block it off.i could possibly get it welded shut. i am a little worried about the headwarping from too much heat. suggestions and or any information would be great. Thanks.
mr-starion
Make your own gasket that includes the fuel pump block off plate gasket
ucw458
Yeah it's best to make your own gasket.
CaliConquestAlex
I just used a lot of RTV gasket maker to seal it up with the manifold bolted on. It hasn't leaked.
pure_insanity
I went ahead and welded the opening in the head. Did it w some pretty thin alumi um sheet, maybe 1/8" this forced me to keep the heat down and i co centrated more on flowing the aluminum compared to trying to burn in and be strong. I did t notice any signs of trouble at all. I also did the same to the dist hole.
