  1. yes, paid 280 plus 50 shipping since I am west coast.
  2. good luck getting one from a dealer for under 350 if you can even get them. This is brand new so yes its in perfect condition. Also this one is from the guy on ebay and it costed 330 shipped. You wont get him to ship you one for under 280 I can guarantee you that.
  3. shipping is going to be 50 by itself and paypal is probably going to take about 10 for fees. Need atleast 280 including shipping and all paypal fees.
  4. My buddy is asking me to sell his 89 OEM one piece airdam, its brand new and was never installed. make decent offer including shipping in the u.s. and we can work something out. Will throw in some new brake pedal pads with the deal.
  5. hey man. If you can get it done I can sell you the brand new airdam I was going to use for my cf airdam gb. In los angeles cf is scarce and prices are crazy. I really wanted to do the airdam for everyone but most companies wouldnt do it or if they would the price was outrageous. pm me or email me
  6. well when I said that i had a "reliable" carbon fiber guy but last second he jacked up the price almost double so I pretty much told him to f himself and went looking for someone else but due to the shortage alot of companies arent interested in small orders, normally finding another cf guy would be easy. the past couple weeks I havent been able to do anything either because my trucks engine went out, no way to get around.
  7. I have having a real problem finding a reliable and quality carbon fiber manufacturer and the past week I havent been able to meet with anyone since the engine in my truck went out, I have a promising meeting on hold in city of industry once I can get the truck running to go out there and get time off work. I am still on it but things arent moving as smoothly as planned. I wil keep everyone posted.
  8. I need to meet face to face with the company I am dealing with, vancouver is a few days drive away. thanks for the help though.
  9. Thanks for the support man, its really appreciated. If people in l.a. want to set up something we can all meet up, you guys can all meet me and we can just kick it. Again I apologize to everyone this is taking so long, this is almost sounding like the carbon fiber hood gb but I am having difficulty finding a quality shop that I can trust, its alot of money to be handing over so i am working on it. I want to set somethign up with a company so we can do more group buys for parts and have it easy the next ones. I will only hand over the deposit(my money) once I do find a quality shop. I had one guy that I had done business with for awhile but he has been really busy. thank you all for your patience and I PROMISE you, it will be done right.
  10. I dont really mind you asking questions but its pretty easy to start your own thread since it basically has nothing to do with my airdam at all. I would appreciate if you would start your own thread and not post in here again. thank you.
  11. slowquest, what are you talking about? I plan on showing the header panel and headlight covers to this guy down in oceanside to get some approximate prices and then post those online, if I can get enough interest then I will make them. Is there anyone in san diego/oceanside area that would be willing to help me out with the airdam, I will cut them a deal once its done. I need a car to test fit the new airdam on when I am at the company, they have to do a few things to it while its on a car to make sure its straight since its urethane and I cant drive my quest down to SD and the truck which is bringing a few other parts they will be doing for me
  12. I talked to a promising company down in oceanside. I am driving down there next week saturday most likely to have them check it over and so I can meet them face to face and to see what type of people they are and the quality of their work. After that I will get the quote and a timeframe and if everything goes well it will be underway. I have to call again on monday to confirm a time on saturday but everything is looking pretty good.
  13. dont even worry about it man, no biggy. im not going to even attempt at holding anyone to this since I screwed up. good luck with everything man, I hope everything works out. You gotta atleast keep one.
  14. there wasnt to much interest so I wasnt pursuing it much. After I have another established manufacturer I will talk to them about it but the guy I was originally working with screwed me over then I had left on vacation so everything had to go on hold. These are really just a side project after I get the airdam done and a hood for a passat I am working on.
  15. ok guys, I just want to update everything that is happening. I know you are going to blame me for all this but I am trying to get it done. Originally I had two companies interested in doing this and then started jerking me around. Since then I have contacted multiple companies and have been having problems with pretty much all of them. Either they dont even respond to the message or messages I have left them or they say they arent interested in such a small order(20-25 first run). Most companies have such bigger accounts and interests that they dont want to do it, doesnt really make sense to me, money is money. But anyways I am trying to get it done but since I do work fulltime and having to catch up from my trip I am very busy with that too, I will get this done and I dont want to half a** it, it needs to be right.
