You are talking about a wastegate splitter, Here it is simplified: http://www.gtfactory.jp/cms/e107_files/public/1242088851_2_FT2130_p1040644.jpg http://justjap.com/store/images/P/jjrscreamersr.jpg http://gtfour.supras.org.nz/pics/downpipe1.jpg http://www.invidia-usa.com/_Images/632584928845000000_0.jpg http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a117/worbs/dsc00099.jpg -
So when I unplugged the map sensor the misfire went away
-
So I broke the nipple running to to the map sensor on the solenoid and it began running bad so I unPlugged the map and the misfire at 5k is gone
-
I need the solenoid leading into the map sensor

My car misfires consitently at around 5k and I think it runs rich, but it doesnt seem to foul plugs. Can I unplug it?

Internal ---> External Wastegate?!

I have satty's car and basically the hot side of the turbo against the strut tower is drilled and a flange is welded on. Then I have a external wastegate bolted onto the flange dumping to open air. Thing is idk if the flapper is welded, I think the arm is just removed and thats it. Works fine, and its running some ebay unit with no problem. -
What would it do if it was not working correctly?
-
LOL idk about the oil cap flying off... This car can barely hold the oil underneath the valve cover at zero pressure, idk. Is it burning coolant? Is it burning oil? What happens at 4k? have you cleaned your injectors? Check your MAS? It could be that ur running stupid rich due to a busted Mass Airflow Sensor or a leaky injector/s.

Anybody?

I know when buying my current Flatty the back right caliper was seized, so the owner pulled the caliper of his widebody and put it on.
