Not familiar with a spain NJV head. Are these any better or worse than the Marnal heads most use? Also the 5mm oversize valves sounds like a lot of material taken from the head. Is that extreme? My last cracked head was between the valve seats, so a little concerned about taking too much casting in that area.

The Spain casting is basically the Marnal. I got it from Bag-O-Chips which is a member on here already assembled and ready to be put on. 5mm is pretty much the standard. You can buy them from Dad's machine shop.

+5mm bigger diameter sounds h-u-g-e. Dad's page says +1.0 mm bigger valves is top seller

Sorry, i'm thinking back to my last head which was 0.5mm OS valves. I should have looked at Dad's site. I got this setup from Bag-O-Chips, he said the valves were the OS ones from Dad's, so they are 1mm then.
