I have some questions.

When the axles left the factory new, was there play in them? or is this a condition of wear?  If they had play in them from new, i would think that Mitsubishi intentionally did that perhaps? And that having the balls too exact in the pocket could cause binding, perhaps when hard cornering( i know they don't flex like FWD vehicles), or going over bumps, or if the vehicle is lowered from factory height?

When the CVC is new the ball rotates like a planet...When the pocket gets worn  the ball is slapping in pocket trying to pop back and forth in pocket.....................that's how they break..............The more wear the more it POPS...................
