I lowered mine an inch and used tokicos, i had 245/45 and i didnt rub with stock suspension but did after lowering. went back to stock sizes and haven't rubbed yet, no problems handles like a dream! love those nitto tires! jeff

when i lowered my 87 quest with eibach springs i put in tokicos, and my 87 had tokicos stock which i took out, several were starting to leak. I am very happy with the ride and stiffness. i have read else where that the tokicos are a notch better than the kyb's. I have use KYB in other cars and been very happy. Bilstein and Koni also made a shock for it as well but read that the tokicos were best - I am happy after lowering I went back down to stock tire sizes as i was hitting in the rear wells over hard bumps with the 245s, camber was also exagerated.

I got the H4 Hella conversion kit, Hella is great quality with a xenon bulb got them from Susquehanna motorsports, 717 993 2215 HL 79567 200mm rectangular H4 each 35.51 71.02 HL 78150 H4 60/55w xenon bulb each 10.43 20.86 good prices and great service, good prices on the replacement H3 55w for the fog lights- 2.55 each hope that helps, the light is great!! a dramatic upgrade, sadly so good the foglights are not very noticable now!! jeff

You all are great -- that is one irritating thing that has bugged my last two conquests, just went out and did it, that has driven me crazy cause it always drops down when i am crankin! thanks

I am running amsoil synthetic 80-90 which i switched to while in minnesota where i couldn't shift when starting in subzero weather, great product! I also use the redline products in other cars and it is great stuff. I can't remember if their gear oil is synthetic or not. I run completely synthetic products in my cars and bikes and have for 20 years Plus. when my oil pump failed in my conquest that is probably what saved the engine..
