The Aussie rocker works, but is a 1.55 or so ratio. It is between the 2.0L SOHC 1.5 ratio, and the V6 1.6 ratio. I'm sure the Aussie cam will work with a 1.6 ratio rocker, but it was close and I didn't feel like trying it since I had the 1.55 Aussie rockers with the cam. It seems to me that you are trying to re-invent the wheel when there are good options out there already, unless you want to spend the cash to make your own custom grind....

...Doing business properly seems to be a lost art with these new boys trying to build cars. Again, good luck, you are going to need it.

To the first part, back when I got my Magna cam & Magna rockers from Tim, we discussed the possibility of the 1.6 rockers not fully closing - to which I have also experienced.  That makes 3-4 of us now who have proved that to be the case.

To the second comment, having spoken with Tim several times and corresponded with Kev on here, I truly believe you both are knowledgeable and have the best of intentions for this group and these cars.  I'd hope things can be assumed as such and past errors made right to the extent they can be.

To the technical end:
Couldn't you just have the valves tips ground slightly if you really want the 1.6 rockers to close?

The BEST but also pricey experimental option is of course to make a roller rocker into adjustable mechanical not hydrolic.  Been discussed in the past.  Unfort the expense to have it done right is too high while the market is too small as I also found with attempts to help others with copying the updates needed to get the T56 swap plate & mounts to work.

Best wishes all.

Hopefully the few OEM Magna cams remaining are still in good shape.  I'd hope those don't get ground up.

I bought the RPW cam setup from Mach5 and have it running in the car. Free revs just fine and smooth.
Although i haven't drove it yet since I screwed something up with the fidanza and new clutch install... I'll report back when I do. Planned to hit the dyno on friday, but without a working clutch. Time will tell
