  1. I hear ya loud n clear strangemajik...I had a feeling the right parts might be out there, and had a hope someone was already keen on going through with it! The 2.4 was indeed well designed, and to be honest, very reliable and powerful. The only issues I have seen were related to the trans/clutch trying to hold all that torque after years of use. The most hilarious issue the SRT4 (body) had, which we never told new owners (for entertainment), was the shift knob comming right off at the dragstrip! The 2.2 (which I have had many), is the easiest to crank up on power. 12psi stock, 14psi on computer flash... add 3", cold air and UD pulley... gotta love MAP based ecu
  2. I am retarded and drooling for your black beauty Quest there sir! and yes you heard right, Daytona daytona daytona, lol What's the deal with the "chat" tool on this forum? It's saying it will comprimise my computer if i use it?
  3. Jebus, why do i have to be on the east coast?
  4. Anyone try this with perhaps a dakota bellhousing plate? Ideas welcomed please share..
  5. Have had my fun with the 80s/90s turbo daytonas/chargers... unfortunately they are all fwd... I am keeping my eyes and ears open for a Conquest. Looking to drop 500-2500 on one after new years. I have a few questions that may not be in FAQs, so bear with me. I've read the threads on common issues (been years since last on here) and knocked the dust off for the most part. My 89 Shelby Daytona (white, 2nd owner) may be traded, but not sure yet. Where may i attain permission to start a thread? (had a swap idea/ question ) Nice to meet everyone again after a long departure! I hope to be here for the long haul.. -John
