88351wtsi
Anyone have pics and details of how you ran piping to mpi intake to keep battery in factory location? Really curious how pipe from fmic to intake goes thru radiator support/front firewall. Really trying to make it look as close to a factory look as possible. polarisman14
That IC is massive! I kept the battery in the stock location but ended up utilizing a smaller battery (Braille) as my charge pipe layout didn't allow the full size battery. Now that I got rid of my charcoal canister and a bunch of other stuff on the right side, I relocated the battery to the right front corner. Fits quite nicely there. ucw458
That IC is from a 90s Izuzu NPR diesel truck.
Josh '88
ucw458: Did you have to eliminate/relocate the front wiper fluid container to make room for your IC piping?
ucw458
Pic #3 shows the wiper fluid resivour is still there. I only cut the corner of the metal battery tray. The trick is I ran about 8" of silicone hose from the IC to the first 90. That got me past the AC hose and washer resivour. Solid pipe couldn't bend around those. Only needed a slight bend.
