Just got mine in the mail and I'm not happy with it. The thing looks slanted. The core is bent slightly and so are some fins. Did anyone else's come this way? Here's a picture of what I received. Doesn't look as bad in the picture as it does in person

No mine was ship shape when I got it. It's probably shipping damage.

That's the thing about it, it was boxed up pretty good. When i mean it's slanted its like a freaking parallelogram. The box doesn't show evidence of being squished.

Mine was fine.    I don't see the slant you're referencing.

I see it. It is out of square. In your picture the top is shifted to the right. It probably pulled when it was being welded. Aluminum moves and pulls really badly when it's welded. Measure across it diagonally each direction, ( top left to bottom right and top right to bottom left) to see how badly it's out of square, then contact CXRacing and see what they say about it. At least then, you'll have actual supporting data to present them with aside from it looking slanted. Hopefully they'll make it right.

Needs more Ecoboost, that should fix it.

Simple, they have no quality control.  Main reason *DM performance  stopped  dealing with them.

My guess is that they have their stuff manufactured overseas. That's how they can sell it so cheaply. With that in mind, it makes sense. They probably don't look to closely at them between arrival in the states and shipping to the customer.

So far they asked for pictures which I sent them what was shown above. They also asked for pictures of the box but I don't have those at the moment. Sent them the pictures and info such as tracking/purchase number. No word back.

I bought a CX Racing radiator for my '86 a couple years back from their Ebay store.  It was not packed well and had a lot of similar and worse damage that you're showing, although the build quality looked good.  When I petitioned them through the Ebay store, I got a lot of run-around and was ultimately offered a 15% refund...needless to say I was not polite in my final response.  Then I called their brick-and-mortar location here in the states, and they shipped a new replacement out to me no charge.

Got a response last night. I'll have to ship it back to exchange it out. This is what they wrote:

check the attached, you can use the return label that we uploaded to ship it back for an exchange, let me know after you shipped it out, thanks

I'll print the label out and drop it off at FedEx tomorrow.

Glad they're going to make it right. Sucks that you have to wait for another one to arrive.

Stuff happens. All they can do is offer a replacement and if they do that with no hassle, that's good customer service. I have one of their S13 rads, works really well at keeping the car cool.

Well after shipping them the radiator back I hadn't heard any word from them for a while. I called them today to see what was up and they told me they had no more in stock and it would be 6 to 8 weeks until more were made. The guy was cool and offered me a full refund. This really sucks as I needed this to get my car back on the road.

I called RaceTEP to see if they had one as well. They are also out of them until a month or so from now. Ugh this is frustrating. Does anyone have a decent used radiator or aluminum one? What do I need to do to make a S13 radiator fit?

I put an s13 rad in my 88 a while back. I doctored mine up to make it bolt in like stock, and bought new bungs and fan sensors from Summit so I could use the stock wiring. Had to drill holes in the lower tank, and braze in the bungs with aluminum rod from Harbor Freight If I had that part to do over again I might've had somebody else weld them in. But it's been in a running fine for a year and a half.
