  1. No longer looking. Picked up one a few days ago. Thx for the replies.
  2. As rare as I know these are, I've been looking to buy one of these the past few weeks. Due to my job keeping me away from my car (which will be in storage) starting in January 2012, I'm looking to buy an 83 hood to have for when I get back. Not knowing what they are really worth other than seeing past prices for them on the site, I'm looking for a hood that is straight, has all inserts and only needs minor work/paint. As my username states "DizzyD" YES, I'm also "Crazy"! With that being said, I will lay down $800.00 for "The (BEST) Hood That I'm Looking For" within a 100 mile radius of 28390 for pick-up but I am also willing to entertain shipping options. If you are that person willing to deal, I have the $$$! PM me!
  3. Ya, its been a while, but thanks Vnomous1 for providing me with the rear end parts I needed. My car is looking good again!
  4. Cool! Thanks man! I'm not sure if I'll have to work this weekend or not, I'll know more tomorrow. Once I find out I'll hit up to see when you aren't too busy for me to roll over there.
  5. Im in the Fayetteville area. PM'd you.
  6. Well unfortunately my 87 starion was rear ended a few weeks ago and now its time to get it fixed. As the topic states, i need the rear bumper cover, foam insert and the inner reinforcement. Since I'm looking for parts i thought I'd toss out there that I'm also in the market for an 83 Hood if anyone out there is willing to part with one. I'd prefer to be able to pick the stuff for the rear locally but will pay shipping if need be. Let me know what you have.
  7. Bought some steel braided lines from him. Quick response to emails and fast shipping! Thanks Brian!
  8. The info is much appreciated! Thx guys! Hope to get this done my next day off work.
  9. Okay, so i've narrowed down the problem with my car with the dizzy having a bad vac advance. I figured since i have to change it i might as well go ahead and tear it down and clean/lube it up. Upon reading through threads here i found one stating different dizzy part numbers ending with 71, 72 or 73 all having different weights and timing curves for different year cars. The dizzy in my (DD) 87 ends with 71 and the one i pulled from my 88 parts car also ends with 71. Basically my question is, is it okay to keep running one of the dizzies i have or do i need to find one of the other two (72,73) before i go through the trouble of tearing one of these down to freshen it up?
  10. Received the manifold today. Thx DzNutz!
  11. Hi. Im in need of a stock non-cracked exhaust manifold preferably with all four turbo mount studs and nuts included. Let me know what you have!
  12. Thx Goddard and TopDawg, that is the seal im referring to and was wondering if I was able able to do exactly what you mentioned by putting sealant around it. If that doesnt work i'll have to run w/o it. I'll give it a try and see how it works. Thx Again! DD
