  1. could wrap lip seal around it and cut small peices of that foam insulation tape that has adheasive on one side to sit on top of the hatch cylinders . that would keep all vibrations down to where you couldnt hear it anyways
  2. slow progress tying to make it fit without it hitting the master cyl./brake booster. then locating an a/c tig welder. big parts small place kind of issues. i wanna get the best possiable flow was wanting to keep the velocity stacks stright but probly going to have to put them in at an angle. any suggestions/ideas. so i can get the ball rolling. as far as the alum. plate been having trouble getting a good price. just wanted to let you guys know i didnt forget.
  3. ill have to see how much the aluminum will run me. its 4"x 1/2". ill let you guys know what i find out.
  4. it says a/r 70 on the compressor, but as far as the turbine goes that is a good question it says no where on it. all i know is it is way bigger than the stock turbo.

  6. check the maf plug. mine was doing this and i didnt have the maf plug seated good enough wiggled it a bit and ran fine. or you could do what im doing and rip it all out and go mpi with no maf. good luck keep us posted.
  7. or you could use a drill bit and an easy out to get whats left of the bolt. then see how long it will run before you rebuild it. the ultimate mits. engine test. gonna have to bore it out anyway. just a thought lol.keep us posted.

  12. just been a while since ive been on here : old name groundzero: forgot my info so i started again. then relized the new rules of the 50 post. but anyways, im neil from central mo. i have an 87 conquest in silver with 68000 miles on it. ive had it for 10yrs. i got a stuck fuel injector. at that point i said its on. so now its getting a custom mpi with parts from rmr, ford edis ignition, t70 turbo, tuning via megasquirt 2. im a fabricator so ill be doing all the building myself. ill keep you guys posted with pics and info.
  13. i made it myself. holesaw and a die grinder. fits perfect
