  1. Forgot to mention, I also found one of the photoshoots I did of the car when I first got it & detailed it: http://www.starquest...l=+wayne +manor Also, my introduction thread is: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=120176&st=0&p=1167582entry1167582
  2. Still available. Had fun at a few car shows & the all Mitsu cookout this summer though the sarcoma is messing with the nerves in my right leg and you may have seen me gimping around with my walker... >_< I'll empathize that this is a second owner car with everything original on it that came from the factory excluding the tires & battery. It also has the only factory option available (sunroof). I'm really surprised these haven't taken off with the current popularity of vintage Japanese cars. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/loli_cat/ev03.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/loli_cat/WP_20150627_001.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/loli_cat/DSC00473.jpg You can see the middle pic was at a show where the Conquest was the second newest car and ONLY foreign car - it was basically a NHRA buddy-buddy show...live and learn! The last pic was at a Japanese Nostalgic meet up. I laugh at 'nostalgic' because the Conquest was the oldest car there by 4 years!
  3. COME ON, you guys!! We need two more cars or we're gonna get stuck back in the OTHER category! (Then we're up against that old guy and his super low mileage Mitsu van, LOL)
  4. I don't know whether to be insulated or proud that I've been on here for so long that my intro post, car post and pics have all disappeared! ; And don't get me started about Carfax! The only vehicle I purchased long distance I had a carfax done cause it was very low mileage. Came up perfectly clear. Went for a personal inspection to buy and saw it had accident repair (carfax said no accidents). Got the price down, drove it home & later my mechanic showed me I was wrong! The vehicle had been repaired from at least two, possibly THREE accidents. Since then I've heard lots of other stories and have never paid for a carfax report again and when one is offered I accept it as anecdotal information. First off, unless you're color blind, you can see the color is Atlantic Blue, a greyish slate blue. Code B71 http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/loli_cat/DSC00046-1.jpg And when I bought it it had almost 39,000 miles on it. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/loli_cat/DSC00037-1.jpg If you are actually serious and not just an armchair nit picker, please give me a call. I can provide dozens of pics and documentation back to when the car was purchased in 1987. Thank you.
  5. 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi - Atlantic blue. Completely original except that I broke down and bought new tires last summer. Otherwise everything is in good original shape. All hoses, belts, etc. Absolutely NO rust, NEVER driven in the winter. I'm the second owner, bought it from my friend who originally purchased it. If you went to the national meet in Branson back in 2011 you saw it. 1300 miles round trip with no problems whatsoever. At this time I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere in the US except, of course, it handles like s*** on the snow and ice! The only things wrong with this car is that the radio and steering wheel controls are both peeling slightly and the paint has a few minor parking dings. Otherwise it's a wonderful car and I'm only getting rid of it 'cause I'll not be around soon and I don't want my wife to sell it to someone on Craigslist for $500 and have them turn it into a drift machine and ruin it. $7500 - Call Mark at 651-468-6116. Thanks! http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/loli_cat/DSC00500-1.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y43/loli_cat/DSC00501.jpg
  6. Group A is in Australia so it will have the scale 2.0 liter engine! (LOL)
  7. I think some of us may know the owner... http://jalopnik.com/does-4-800-make-this-1984-chrysler-conquest-worth-conq-1642843213
  8. So sorry to hear the bad news. As was said above, get going on some of the things you've never gotten around to doing. I personally had a second recurrence of the cancer I had surgery on last year, they operated the end of August and couldn't get it all. Fortunately it's a non-aggressive type and they can watch it and see but it was a strong motivation to get off my butt and do some things this summer that I always meant to do but never got around to. Good luck and we'll all be thinking of you!
  9. Any pics? I was laid up post-surgery and couldn't even THINK of going. Somehow something always comes up...(grumble)...
  10. You can see the WHITE BEAR right there on my windshield! I think that's why I -FINALLY- won a trophy! Oh and that Hemiquest had a 6.1 liter engine, according to the valve covers anyway...and you didn't mention the BIG tail intercooled turbo he had hooked up to it!! I'm glad he wasn't entered or I would have been out of 3rd place!
  11. Crap, every '84 disappears before I notice it!!
  12. 2000GTs have auctioned at over $1mil so $850k is not a bad price unless it's unrestored & in grungy shape...
  13. You should have gone to the Mitsu cookout up in White Bear Lake the end of August - there were 6 starquests there!
  14. You don't know the MEANING of fear until the dealer breaks out the WHITE BEAR MASCOT COSTUME!!
  15. Is this car sold? Ad is down. Dang, I've been keeping an eye out for one of these for under $2.5k with an auto for my wife. (She SAYS she'll keep her foot out of it!)
