Dont know if it matters but hard drive has xp on it.

kinree, the ram looks to be for the new board. everything looks like it will work in the old case. it's not a bad deal if you are only looking to do it cheap. if you have more money, I'd suggest getting into an intel cpu. my only concern is if your dvd drive is ide. the new board doesn't have ide. so you might need a sata dvd drive, but those are cheap now. and you will probably get a stop 0x0000007b unless you put the bios in "native" or "ide" mode. You will be fine with that setup, I would highly suggest getting into windows 7 or 8 x64 (64-bit)to take full advantage of it though.
