hey guys I'm going to be modding my fuel rail for an aeromotive FPR. I'm just wondering for those that have done it:

what are the fittings that I need and how many of them.

How much fuel line will I need?

Can I keep my stock fuel filter if so what fittings do I need to use to adapt the new lines.

Also I found this kit but it's for a 1g dsm us it everything I need.

Or would I be better off buying everything seperatly.

Mario that looks nice. I like the fact you guys mounted it on the rail itself. Usually I see it on the strut tower. Guess it's a way to eliminate the use of an extra hose. Yea pm me a list parts. You guys wouldn't mind comin down to help me out would you.

Heres the Aeromotive FPR I have http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AEI-13105/. Ill tell Scotty Dont to chime in on the thread today and give you more information. The fuel rail I used was already tapped and modded by him so I dont have a clue of the sizes its tapped out to. I know a few parts are tapped different sizes.

Heres a little list. Not sure if its all going to make sense but these are mainly the parts I used. You kinda gotta get parts are you go because every setup is different

Feed Side

12mm x 1.25 -6 Male to Male

3/8 NPT To -6 Male To Male

-6 Line( This Is Where I used Braided Line) with a 90 Degree and a Straight fitting connecting to the Fuel Filter.

To Regulator

1/8NPT(male or female) to -6 male

-6 AN Line

-6 To Regulator Size

The you need a Fitting To Regulator to 3/8 for fuel return line( This is the Other 90 degree bend for the Return line). I chose to go with a push on style and it seems to be pretty good

All of the fittings and lines ended up costing me about $70 plus the initial cost of the FPR

After we got everything all finished up we bumped my base fuel pressure to about 40 and now with running 18 to 20lbs of boost my A/F readings on my wideband are in the 10s and 11s. While my cruising readings are in the 15s, So its not to rich while cruising but rich enough while in boost. Seems to be working out very well so far

Like I said IDK if it will all make sense but this is a list we wrote out and used as a guide.

Mario that list is a little off here is what we used.

Feed Side

12mm x 1.25 -6 Male to Male

3/8 NPT To -6 Male To Male

14" -6 Line with a 90 Degree and a Straight fitting connecting from the fuel filter to fuel rail

To Regulator

1/8NPT(male to male)

Return to tank

-6 90* push on fitting

18" of 3/8" hose to hard return line

This list of parts will vary depending on the regulator used. The fuel rail feed was tapped with a 3/8 npt tap, the regulator was cut off and tapped to 1/8npt. Gremlin if you would like to come up here I have all the tools need at my place and there is a local store with all of the AN lines and fittings.

I paid about 165 plus shipping. I got the 13105 because of the size and the pressure range is what we want(30 to 70) psi. The other ones I looked at started at 45psi. I also went with the 13105 because it seems thats what most people are running

The Fuel filter is stock. Just unscrewed the original screw and screwed the new fitting in to accept the end of the end of the braided line. And yea the sensor in the back is for a interior fuel pressure gauge. Had to run a 90 degree fitting on it because with the adaptor it hit my strut bar

I got it from the local shop Scotty Dont mentioned Along with all the AN lines and fitting. The shop is called Morgans Machine And Marine. Expensive but has everything you need. They carry all high end parts and everything a Normal auto part store doesnt

ey, when you go up to Scottys to get this done, let me know. ill roll with you. I want to watch. redoing the fuel system for better fuel delivery to the injectors is what i have been planning to do for a long time now. And it might get done as my new bottom end gets dropped in.

Im running stock injectors with my FPR set up at 40lbs base and with a s16g at 18psi my A/F numbers were between low 10s and 11. When Im just cruising my A/F numbers are around high 14s to 15s.
