MontyMcV, a member on this board that i sent a distributor to , with the trusting thing of , if it works for you send me the money , never sent the money , i mean i come to the boards and figure i have alot of parts i can sale to other people that are into conquests to help them out , but this is the second part i sold to someone , i sold an altenator to someone under a different screename about a year ago , sent it out and recieved confirmation that the person got it , but never recieved payment for it this is why all of my 87 quest parts that i am not going to use are going on ebay

I designed a carbon fiber intake for the conquest about a year ago , i even made a prototype mold , but the thing is my friend at the same time designed a composite (kevlar) intake for sprint cars that he now sales , was going to be carbon fiber but the rules were changed and carbon fiber was banned , anyhow he dyno tested it and even that it didn't transfer as much heat to the incoming air as aluminum intakes really the only gain was weight savings, which is critical for sprint cars and indy cars , but for street cars a weight savings of about 3 pounds is not worth the money that a carbon fiber intake would cost
