$190 shipped. This has the reflash for uses with the mitsubisi air flow meters. These are much easier to use then the safc 2 and have more tuning points.

This is what i tuned my tbi car into the low 300's street and 370 plus track / dyno tune.

Some goo on the back of the $190 one that i covered with tape.

I am replacing my first motor in my starion, was planning on going with a 3" gm maf and 1g maf translater, porting out my mani and 14g turbo and going for high boost. Would this work well with my planned set up? and how does this thing work, im new to all this AF ratio tuning stuff. As my other quest has been kept stock as its my daily.

You can use this with a Maf T. You'll basically wire both in together. The GM maf will send the signal to the translator box and then you take the signal output from the translator and wire it to the AFC Neo. Then you wire the Neo to send the signal to the ECU. The translator will give you the overall adjustment from low, mid, and high and the Neo will allow you to correct specific points based on RPM. It helps to smooth areas in your tune. It is a "crude" tuning method but does work. I used a Maf T/SAFC combo for a while.

Ok thats definetly helps my to understand the situation a little more. so without it, if i only had the gm maf, and 1g maf translater. I wouldnt be able to adjust my AF ratios at all ? and on top of this I am going to need something to read my AF ratios to me, correct? or does this AFC neo do that too? if not what is my best option, Ive found this so far, any good?

You will need a wideband AFR gauge and sensor regardless. It not only is a good diagnostic device but will help you to see exactly how the engine is burning the fuel/air mixture. Essential for tuning.

With just a GM maf and 1g translator you still can adjust your fuel trims but there is only 3 or 4 adjustments. The base adjustment sets your injector cc flow rating, the idle sets your fuel trim for idle, the mid is part throttle, and high is for like WOT. The Apexi unit added to that allows you to fine tune the spots along the RPM range.

They work even better using a GM map sensor. The DSM guys have been doing it for a long time.

Ok how does this thing compare to an innovate lc2? Cuz I can get that brand new with the a/f ratio gauge. And o2 sensor for 155$.

Innovate is just a wideband air fuel ratio sensor kit. Just like the AEM UEGO that alot use, including me. The Super AFC is completely separate from a wideband & maf translator.

Use an AEM UEGO setup. They self calibrate and are just as inexpensive. I have had my AEM gauge on 3 different cars. Only thing that requires replacement every now and again is the O2 sensor itself.

AEM UEGO  way to go!  It has four setings on the back p1 p2 p3 and p4  l used p4 setting and ran wire to pinout #11 for the o2 sensor to the ecu never used my oem o2 sensor again it worked perfect  along with 3"gm mass and 1st gen translator. Just make sure your o2 is 30"or so away from turbo! To hot for it and will not last very long.

I have my sensor at the end of the down pipe at the curve. Haven't needed to replace it yet 3+ years.
