What kinda car you talkin here? I have 8 inch rears (non-shp) on all four corners of my flatty and I only have minor rubbing from my fender. Now keep in mind that the flatty and widebody suspension geometry is different...

Currently on those rims im running 225/50/16's

Allen and D_Venable...I'm talking about my '88 wide body Starion w/SHP factory package, 9"SHP Rear and 8"SHP Front. I want to change the front to 8"non SHP because I like the double lip look(more bling). One guy in San Diego had it on his '87 Starion and it had an aggressive look that I like, but he said it was scraping a little bit when he turned hard. I believe he was using 225/50/16 with the 8" non SHP up front. I like the stretch look so I'll try using 205/45/16 or 205/50/16 with the 8" non SHP up front on stock height and fender not rolled.

Haha... yeah, just seeing if you'd notice.

Here's when I had 225/50's on em:

And then I switched em to a 205/55:

And then most recently 205/50's:

Robert...yes i notice it :) , hard not to notice even in gold, I really like how aggressive it looks and it should corner better. Thanks for showing the 3 different tire setup on the 8"non SHP! it tells me I was in the right ball park with tire size. Do you like the 205/50 on the 8"non SHP up front? And does it rub? It looks like your Starion is dropped and rolled the fender. My plan is to install my polished 8"non SHP up front with 205/50 or 205/45 at stock height and not rolled.

Yes, Nexen still makes 245/45/16 tire size but that tire size may not fit the front 8"non SHP. But that's the recommended tire size for the rear 9"SHP.

Nexen eh? I know a tire distributor that carries those. Yo, you in the San Fe Valley?
