Just found the problem. The intercooler was opened up like a tuna can. It must have been hit and then ripped the bracket half way off. I'd say that's probably an issue. But glad for all the help guys. I'll let ya know how it runs as soon as it's repaired.

New fuel filter and pump is putting out 35psi @ the throttle body. Clips on injectors are new as well. this thing should be purring! I ohmed out the tps and it seemed ok, I'll look up the values and compare them. Think I should do away with all the emission vacume lines and components or keep digging?

Ok, my 87 quest that is all stock. It's been sitting inside for 10 years untouched. I've replaced the fuel tank, water pump, radiator and rebuilt the turbo and throttle body with new injectors. also replaced all the vacume lines and coolant lines. The motor was supposedly rebuilt just before storing. I've verified good compression and fuel pressure. But this thing runs like crap, spits and sputters can't get over 20mph. Help! I bypassed the coolant line going to the throttle body, my theory was trying to keep the heat out of there. Was that wrong? I had two codes, o2 sensor and TPS. I've installed a new 02 and a different TPS. haven't checked codes since, but it's running the same. I picked up an 88 quest this weekend with a cracked head, so I'm in the process of using it for trouble shooting parts, robbing peter to pay paul. any help would be appreciated guys.

I asked because I know there's a difference between intercooled and non. Is there a problem with asking questions on this forum?

Just got this out of a barn, been there 10 years. And the tank is shot. Car is awesome, no rust, no dents, Leather is perfect, just the tank didn't make it. It's a 87 Turbo wide body. Willing to pay for tank and shipping. Let me know, Thanks for your help. Located tank! thanks guys
