As a Veteran myself, I can attest the disability system could use considerable improvement. You really have to fight and fight to get the rights you are entitled to after serving. The only positive is once you are awarded a monetary amount you get paid for it the rest of your life.

evo X owner/ n00b car guy is just amazing.

I agree with the comment that not everyone is mechanically inclined. I do not mind working on my Quest but have limited mechanical knowledge. The ideal situation is a Quest "expert" or a meet that you can get with other guys and learn and increase your knowledge base. -
My old fiji 88 is up for sale from previous buyer.
Qst4Speed replied to jdmZ33's topic in eBay/ Craiglist notices and alerts
Wow, and I could not get 4k for mine when I was trying to sell it. It has fresh rebuild and nothing really wrong with it. He will never sell it. I am glad I kept mine. -
Are the inner parts of your rims all black? Mine are and yours is the only other Quest I have ever seen that did the same. Rick

I have an 88 and have always used NGK plugs. I have had my Quest for 10 years and would never use anything else. They are affordable and work very well. I am assuming the 86 cannot be that much different as far as plugs go. Rick

I have been away from the boards for over 3 years now. Life happened and I have had my Quest stored in the garage and it has only been cranked and driven 4 or 5 times in those 3 years. I had Shelby do a motor rebuild and some upgrades 3 years ago. Now I want to start driving it daily again. It has developed some issues while sitting and not being used. I am looking for someone in my local area who can help me work on it. I would have no issue paying someone to help me get it back into top shape as long as the prices were reasonable. I would rather do this work at my home so I am looking for someone who lives within an hour or two of Ocala, Fl who could travel a weekend or two per month and help out. If anyone is interested or willing to help, please let me know. Thanks.

Awesome. That is one of the few things on the exterior I have not replaced. Any idea on what the cost is going to be? Count me in regardless.

Not to sound stupid but I have been gone from the boards for almost 4 years now and am just getting back. What lenses are you putting together a GP for?

CHECKING THE NEED ON STEERING BOX
Qst4Speed replied to Trilogy Turbos's topic in Group Purchase Info
I am interested as I know my current one is leaking but I have to drive my car everyday and cannot send my old one as a core. And, I do not want to pay the $500 so I will have to figure out what I am going to do. -
I sent pms to Kelly and the car owner and neither answered me. Was the insulating material that attaches underneath the hood replaced? I have been looking for a way to do this to mine with no luck. Help me out here. Rick

I see all these answers to posts all the time and they never answer a dudes question. You guys gave ideas on having his seats recovered. Hell, almost any upholstery place can do that. But the other half of his question was having the foam replaced as well. I need this done as well. And after reading this post for the last 10 mins I have exactly no more info than i did before. Can anyone refoam the seats like factory or not? Rick

AXXIS Brake Pads GP (Supported by Otis @ MWT)
Qst4Speed replied to Oscar_the_Grouch's topic in Group Purchase Info
Ok guys, its been a couple of weeks since you received your pads. Can anyone psot back some results. Were you happy with them? Do they work as well as advertised and would you buy them again? I am interested in getting a set through Otis (not worried about price) but want to see what everyone thought of them. Thanks for any feedback provided. Rick -
Thanks for the help guys. Their website must have been messed up the other day. I went there again just now and it worked fine. I ordered the GSL-392 and the 400-952 install kit for the same $127.93 with free shipping. One more part done-still got to get power steering pump and new radiator fans. Thanks again. Rick
-
Ok, I must be an idiot but I went to that link and I cannot find the pump and kit listed for our cars. Is it listed as something else. There is not a search feature for their site either. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks. Rick

Hi, Getting ready to replace my struts and springs. This would be a great addition to do at same time. How hard is this to install?
