  1. All of the TBI pieces have been sold, sorry.
  2. Have a few things I won't need for my MPI build. If you don't like my prices, make me an offer. There isn't much I need in the way of trades, unless you have performance engine parts you're dying to get rid of (pistons, bearings, cam, etc).Or a front lip in good condition. All prices are plus shipping, and all this stuff makes excellent stocking stuffers! PM me an email or phone number and I can send pics. Rebuilt 12a - complete, rebuilt by PO, zero miles. No shaft play, SOLD Stock FMIC - dented on the bottom, I don't see any cracks or holes, $25 Stock IC piping - flanged for 1g bov, I'm pretty sure I have ALL the pieces, $50 Crushed 1g bov - $50 87 ECU - $25 TWO stock intake manifolds - $20 each Stock TBI setup - injectors, throttle body, manifold, etc SOLD Stock MAF and cone filter - $30 Mitsubishi script valve cover - very small crack near the pcv valve (guessing they all crack there), painted red, $150 I also have some DSM parts, if anyone else here is similarly afflicted... Complete 1gb Talon Rear end, perfect for a 1ga to 1gb conversion: Bumper, tail lights, and 3 piece wing, will separate. - $150 1gb Instrument clusters (I have two). 122.5k on one, 131.2k on the other. Both in very good shape. $15 each Supra fuel pump - $15 Moroso sealed battery box - $35 1ga side mirrors and rear view mirror - $25 2g style aluminum intake pipe, non-recirc - $15 91-94 5-speed shifter, with good cables, needs rebuilt - $25 90-94 rear calipers, need to be rebuilt - $20/pair 90-91 Front calipers, great shape, with pads - $50/pair 91-up water cooled oil filter housing, excellent shape - $30 1g AWD fuel pump hanger. Has repaired pickup line, doesn't leak - $30 1g Crank pulley. A little dinged up, but is straight and not dry rotted - $20 90 DSM oil cooler. Mounting bracket is bent, and the cooler looks a little rough, but no visible holes or signs of leakage - $15 1ga Laser front bumper, decent shape - $25
  3. Are these really that desirable? i have one, with a very small crack at the pcv valve, and I don't need it. No idea they were "a thing" lol
  4. Below are a few of the things I'm looking for, let me know what you have. Car is an 87, although I don't think that matters for any of this stuff. Front bumper support, rusty is ok, rusted away is not. Mine literally fell apart in chunks as I took it off. Front bumper cover, no cuts or damage, prefer red, but any color will work. Front air dam, see above. Driver side defroster vent, black, not cracked or broken, with metal clips still intact. Long shot - 1g dsm eprom ecu
  5. I'm going mpi, so I'll be fabbing up my own IC pipes. I'd imagine the tpi install would require the same.
  6. That is the CX Racing FMIC and Radiator from ebay. I'm impressed for the money.
  7. Interesting, good to know. Doesn't the maf handle baro adjustments normally though? I'm not terribly familiar with the setup on the quest, and I'm ditching all of mine so...
  8. You're right, I forgot about about vacuum. But still, 43 psi?
  9. Why would you want a 4 bar map sensor, is that a MS thing? That's 58 psi worth of measurement, I'm guessing you'd be doing well to hit half of that. I put a GM 3 bar on my 1g so I could run 30+ psi, but a 2.5 bar is still good for 36 psi. I believe the larger the sensor, the less resolution it has as well.
  10. Generally speaking, meth injection can be a great addition, depending on the specifics of your build. If it's a high comp, bleeding edge set up, meth can give you some headroom for knock suppression allowing you to turn up the boost. If the build is conservative, then it's probably not necessary. As for tuning a Haltech, that would be a question for your tuner. If you are tuning it, I'm sure there are some Haltech-centric forums out there that you can peruse to see what you're getting into. If you have not tuned a car before, I would strongly suggest finding a competent tuner (with a dyno) unless you want to rebuild the engine a few times. I am partial to Hallman manual boost controllers. They have a basic that is adjustable under the hood, and one that has an in-cabin knob for on the fly adjustment. I've never been let down by one ever, including on my TTA roadrace prepped Evo.
  11. Well not a lot has happened in the last few months on the car, but now things are back in full swing. I have some used stuff on its way to replace missing/broken things, we've finally decided on the engine build (mostly), and I've picked up a few new pieces before they become NLA. Pulled the front end apart, and it looks like I will need a bumper support, bumper cover, and air dam to make it right again. Good news is there is no rust underneath at all, and the rear quarters should be a relatively easy fix. http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/4E42F531-8470-4992-A5DA-3441897FB547_zpsadoqcff5.jpg Picked up a few aluminum bits, very tasty. http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/10E21A9F-766B-4906-909F-07512F22CE47_zpsxtdxh49y.jpg http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/8FB7CDC5-3329-4724-8F29-91A4F7F83312_zps9no5mlwz.jpg http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/CACF0AB5-8770-477D-9C25-3B1C3275D4F6_zpsx7oo3bx8.jpg
  12. Core is 4" thick, the inlet/outlet are 2" ID and 2.25" OD if you count the bead. Welds look very nice, I'm happy with my purchase. http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/8FB7CDC5-3329-4724-8F29-91A4F7F83312_zps9no5mlwz.jpg http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/43988671-5CB7-4C22-B568-9D560ECBC408_zpszsjvfcps.jpg http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/5DEED39B-AF7F-447D-9DCF-230D95E61BEB_zpsqv8axbze.jpg http://i1377.photobucket.com/albums/ah58/Greg_Wallace/1987%20Mitsubishi%20Starion%20ESI-R/23746F6B-18AC-4B77-942A-7E29B01B9F59_zpsy9ocjfpq.jpg
  13. I'm definitely interested in one of these. And if the owner of your test car wants to swap my black front fender for his red front fender, I'd be down for that too!
