You wouldnt happen to have an extra distributor drive gear that connector to the cam laying around would you??
-
Like the title says I need a distributor drive gear and bolt. Also if you have a water pump pulley that would be fantastic

This is our old jeep, I plan was to blow it up, Well That didn't happen but we did break both axles, broke two rims, transmission is shot. So all in all it was a good day.
-
No cracks, Willing to ship!! Any one have any???
-
if the pistons and rods don't sell, I will grab them
-
I will take thoses piston and rods if you still have them if no one else has taken them!!

Yea I just finished up a Old corolla and did the 5 valve swap. We also just finished a twin turbo 350z, Going to start working on the R34, Its only the GT-S model. So The guy brought us a RB26 with the full drive train, Can't wait to start that. Wiring is a mess, But should be fun.

So I finally landed a job at a performance shop, Its a small little shop in villa park IL. Its call Ill Garage. I was never a big Honda guy at all. Well this shop does mainly Honda's, We also do Nissan's, which is what is mainly there right now. But I can tell you this, This job is so much more fun than changing tires all day long. Any way, I never had any respect for Honda's what so ever, Until I started working here. I can tell you that driving a boosted Honda is A LOT of fun. Will I ever own one maybe some day. Well our shop car is a EK hatch, I believe he is running around 11 to 1 comp and about 35 pounds of boost. Its a twin scroll precision Turbo, last time he went to the track he was having problem with the electronic boost controller, he had it set with boost by gear, but the duty cycle is so touchy, He ended up running 45 pounds at the track, Which I have no idea how much hp is that is, Well the video that is in here is the car on our dyno, The roller is wore out so he couldn't load the car to well so it has a late spool. I can tell you though, that boosted Honda's depending, are freaking wicked, only if you can grab traction that is ..

I couldn't tell you the specs off the top of my head, But what I do remember, It has a rev limit set on it, It's a multi spark control box. It really smoothed out my idle on my car, From where the car had a slight loop at idle and went away with this set up. The set up is around 1 year and a half too 2 years old. I only ran it for 1000 miles. The reason I got rid of it, Is because I switched cars. Ill try to find more info on the box, But I see that they have discontinued this box.. -
Logging turbine back pressure
Bigfrog_12069 replied to StarquestRescue's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
Well there is a write up on how to use the stock servo motor. They are you a RC motor controller and a program to read map pressure to adjust it. I have heard even with the vanes all the way open it still tends to boost creep, But I will find out for my self. Some people have pulled the servo motor off and made brackets for a normal waste gate actuator. Now the problem with that is they don't set it up to get the full sweep to fully closed to fully open. I'm sure I can make it work.I know that the turbo is being ran by very few in the DSM crowd, I how ever did see one Starquest with one a couple of years ago. I have heard spool up time is that of a ball bearing if not faster, which isn't bad for the size of the turbo and that it is still a journal bearing. -
Logging turbine back pressure
Bigfrog_12069 replied to StarquestRescue's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
Okay. So I have been thinking, now what if you run a small ar on the exhaust and just run a bigger waste gate, wouldn't that help with the bottlenecking? Or would if still be there because your loosing that much heat to spool the turbo to make boost pressure? I plan on running a Vgt turbo from a cummins and the cm on it fully closed runs 3-4 and fully open is 25cm. I really want to log the tip vs map pressure and get some more info on this.
