Would it be possible to get a rebuild kit? Or is it worth it. What do you think is my best option?

I have an 89 conquest. Manual. Everything on this engine is still stock. When I give on the gas and boost kicks in I believe the turbo squeals. The boost will only hit 7 on my gauge. Is that normal? Our should there be more? Is there anything I can do to stop that? Is the turbo shot? The car has 101k miles. Any idea? I just feel it should be giving more boost and the car quicker. Does anyone have the same problem. Anyone have a turbo to sell? A decent one? Thanks for the help

I have had it for a while, and kept up on her. She is a solid runner with only 101k miles. Tranny is good body is good interior has some wear. It's 24 years old. .. and in pretty good condition. I take her out once a week to keep everything moving and lubricated. .. other than that she sits. If anyone is interested contact me by cell 9206279566.
