I'm interested in a durable fiberglass three piece rear spoiler with an LED 3rd brake light in 4.5" (30 LEDs) version. A rear wiper and popup antenna are not necessary as a small 'shark fin' design antenna can be installed in place of the roof wiper (fluid) nozzle.

I applaud you for taking on this project. Based on your other custom SQ parts offered for sale, I'm sure this GP will turn out great!

Interested in the fiberglass spoiler with no brake light.

I just want to make sure that the outer part of the spoiler won't be too thin; should be rounded, not too pointy.

Is there a minimum for you to start the GB?

Thanks, Zack

Josh,

When will the prototype be finished and pics posted to this thread? Do you need deposits prior to finishing the plug and prototype?

Thanks,

Dan

any questions just ask like usual!

hmmm...thought it would look more like Mookeeh's prototype

can you elaborate?? like i said this is the rough prototype.... if i need to make changes let me know...

but really, its 2.25" out from the rear edge of the spoiler.. the only difference should be this one doesnt have quite the arch on the rear like mookeeh's per request of a number of members...

let me know

I would rather see a spoiler made like the red one in the pics below. The bottom of this side spoiler lines up with the top of the flared quarter panel better than OEM (which 'appears' slanted down toward the rear of the car). Also, the three cutouts exposed beneath the side spoiler are the OEM mounting points and can easily be filled. Edited by Dan

ive thought about that too dan and its a good idea, but id rather not give anyone a reason to put a bondo blob in the quarters, or have to spend extra having a bodyshop weld up the holes and getting the side of the car repainted just for a spoiler...it would be kinda tricky for most garage mechanics to blend in the spots nicely...

these are intended to be a direct bold on part with minimal fitment and paintwork...but, since these spoilers are going to be fiberglass, if anyone wants to cut em up and modify em, they would have no problem doing so.. so i guess that could be the solution!!!

I agree with this also, as I don't want to be filling anything........should bolt right on. I don't like the pics of the red one :confused0024:

Josh, I like the proto pics of yours, but I still think the edge of the spoiler across the rear is too pointy, should have more of a curve.

BTW, the side view looks great!
