  1. Thanks to everyone for welcoming me into the fold! I'd love to post some pics, but I'm new to forums, ( except for knowing how to search for info,) and I don't quite know how to post them . If anyone has the time to give me some direction, I would be more than happy to show some off. Pcristquester: I got my 87 through a friend of a friend. It needed more work than he was willing to put into her, and my friend already has a restored and modified 87, along with several other ongoing projects. My friend knew I'd wanted on of these beauties since 1986, when I first got to sit in and take a ride in one. So, since this one seemed on its way to the wrecker, i got a rescue call . Most of the rest of the engine parts are already on their way, but I will need a front air dam soon, and probably some interior bits
  2. Good morning all from sunny San Diego! I've been surfing the forum for over a month now, in anticipation of finally owning my first Starion. As of Sunday, I am the proud new owner of an 87 ESi-R! She's a project, and the engine is a basket case, but mostly there. The long block has been rebuilt, with both bsek and jet valve elimination. I haven't yet checked all of the numbers to see what ecu is in it, but will do that today. I've search a few other forums, and by far the has Been the most user friendly, informative and supportive suite I've found. Thanks to all of you for sharing your wealth of combined knowledge with the world. I will try to post some pics of her later today, and plan to try to document the revival of yet another one of our coveted beauties. - Ray
