  1. I have the 88 power window switch, don't know if it's auto down. Sorry no extra injectors, no ignitor box, wiper cowl is cracked, all the rear susp is already gone. Located in Chesapeake Beach 20732, southern Maryland

  5. I am seeling all my conquest cars and parts, willing to sell separate or as a package. Just let me know what you are interested in. 1989 Blue conquest tsi shp 5spd, nice solid car.Fresh tune-up, rebuilt distributor, new p/s pump and lines, Engine has non jet head, removed b/s, custom built equal length tubular stainless manifold with turbonetics t3/t4 turbo and external wastegate, 3" gm maf, maft, hardpipes with bov, remanned injectors ( running 2 secondaries), aftermarket boost guage in cluster, wideband on pillar. Car has factory shp adj struts in good shape and addco sway bars. Black leather interior in nice cond (front seats are the 87 style), suede momo wheel. The shp wheels are decent with minor rash on a couple, gray center paint is good, but they could use polishing, and have new tires. The car still needs a couple things, needs exhaust as it never got done after new manifold downpipe install, needs final tuneing to dial in maft with new turbo setup, a/c needs charge, and the car would need a fresh paint job to look really good as it is a bit faded with a couple small dinged up areas. 1989 Black tsi shp, pretty much a roller with a dash, no front bumper, super nice shp wheels, clear title. 1988 Yellow roller, full nice black leather interior, 89 front seats (drivers has hard leather, pass side seat is pretty decent), has a trans. Body is decent except hood flew up and dented cowl and bent hood corners, no air dam. I have a extra engine partially taken apart, some other stock spare parts. All located in Maryland $4000 takes all, or $3500 for blue 89 car, $1000 for both the other 2 cars with extra parts.   6. I am still working on getting my car tuned better, but I believe my wastegate is acting up and I saw 22lbs of boost today. My a/f ratio is still good at wot but I am kind of wondering what might be a safe number of how much boost I can run. My engine has been gone through, the previous owner said. It does have b/s removed and non jet head and I had the oil pan off and the bores looked good from the bottom with 135 psi on all cyl. I have a t3/t4 turbonetics with a 63 a/r hot side, and I believe a 50 trim compressor rated up to around 425hp, with a tubular manifold and ext wastegate, gm maft, walbro 255, 2 secondary injectors {for now}, hard pipes, all fresh tune-up parts. So just a general idea of safe boost level and what rpm do you guys run these engines up to?

  8. I installed another secondary injector in place of the primary injecter and now I can boost to 14lbs with no problem. I believe with the setup I had the maft was sending a signal to the ecu asking for more than 100% duty cycle on the injectors. I am running a nice 12.0 air/fuel at wot now and driveability is not bad except the car is still lean at idle. I am going to go ahead and get a adjustable fpr to get the base fuel pressure up at idle and then I should be able the tune it enough with the maft. I may try a earlier 850cc injector as a primary and see how that does if I can get my hands on one, then see if I can creep the boost up a little higher. Thanks for all the help, it finally seems like I am making progress on getting a decent running quick conquest.
  9. I will have to get a hose for my guage to read it under boost, but I have 37 at idle. I have a stock fpr with a walbro 255 pump and stock injectors. What adjustable fpr are you guys running? I will lean it out at wot and see if anything changes, I was starting on the safe side and didn't get enough time today to get it adjusted better.
  10. I just got my car back together after fabbing up a tubular manifold and installing a new turbonetics t3/t4 turbo, and added a maft with 3" gm maf. I have been playing with the settings and the car drives nice down the road at cruise, mid and wot {except when the boost gets up around 12 the car all of a sudden falls on its face} but my idle my wideband shows fully lean sometimes does not even register a number on the guage. So needless to say the car wants to die at idle, I have the maft set as rich as it will go at idle but it is still super lean. All my a/f ratios are acceptable under any other driving condition. Why would it idle so lean? My problem of falling on it's face above 12 lbs of boost was there since I got the car and before I did all the recent mods, I have tried everything and not figured it out yet. Now with the wideband hooked up I see that the a/f was around 10.0 at wot and 12lbs boost when it falls on it's face, what the ?
  11. I have a 89 conquest SHP roller, currently no interior except nice black dash. Car is black.
  12. I like the idea of running it with a hood, or at least a hood top and letting the 4 pipes stick out the side giving it a somewhat traditional hot rod look. It won't sound like a v8 no matter what you do, but when they hear the raw sound of exhaust leaving the turbo and the whistle it will turn some heads that will then have to look further to see whats under the hood. That is the fun in building a rod like that, doing something different. Your choice may not appeal to everyone but most with that style car will not hold it against you.
