There is a fusible link box by the battery.  And also one inside the distribution box towards left rear that l know of.
Colors need to be properly selected for proper amps and for each one.
Also should be one black from battery terminal to the little small distribution plastic box. Just look at yours and order accordingly.
Colors are  Green Red Brown    and Black one(no spade connector on this  it's a little loop on each end that goes over bolt).

While in there  make sure to clean all grounds.

Ground #11 under the battery(very important)
Also ground behind distribution box.  Grounds all over the place  make sure they are super clean. All connections also.

Highly suggest  you read through your FSM and get a hold of SOS manuals if you can. Starfighterpilot who made these up gets  into details w pictures and many topics regarding these cars)  never talked to him or knew him  but admired his knowledge and attention to detail and humor.

Use dielectric grease on all connections to keep them. clean and working longer.......all the fumes from charging battery makes them get corroded............

Relocating your battery to the trunk is a good idea if you feel motivated or good sealed battery

If you can find one there is a fuse link cover that some mighty max trucks had that fits our cars. It helps protect the exposed fuse links next to the battery.
