  1. Thanks for the links guys. The car is an automatic. The rear in my car is starting to make noise, so want to take care of everything all at once. Car is a long term keeper for me. I bought the NOS diff a couple of months ago. Got it for under $400 shipped to me, and had the gears lying around.
  2. Can anybody point me to a walkthrough of a gear swap, not a diff swap. I have a NOS LSD diff and a set of 3.91 gears and want to do the swap. I've done it before on the Dana in my Charger, can't possibly be worse than that! Want to be sure to get all the parts I need and do it right. Thanks
  3. On my Charger I've used a lot of different aftermarket fans, and the only ones I've had that worked are high flow Spal's. They will suck a paper against the grille of my car (and there is a huge distance there) and cool off my blown bigblock with no sweat. Also never put the fans in front of the radiator as that will just block air flow. Make sure to have some sort of shroud to take full advantage of the radiators core and run off relays. Also ditch that sensor mounted in the fins and go with a true sensor directly in the coolant. That said on my Quests' I've run both factory setups with no issues. My current one has factory electric fans and never ever runs higher than mid gauge, maybe your factory fans are tired. I noticed a while ago one of my fans seemed lazy and replaced it with a spare. My last Quest received an aftermarket clutch fan with a factory shroud and never even got to reach mid gauge. I'm toying with the idea of going back to the clutch fan on my current car as I think there is a certain piece of mind not depending on relays and electric motors, and the power loss was negligible to me.
  4. I replaced my rear cat with a 'modern' high flow and have a gutted front (so it still looks legal). When I bought the car in from Virginia it had no cats at all on it. With the way I have it now I noticed no drop off in performance either. It passed emissions here in NYC with flying colors, guy said it ran cleaner than a lot of newer cars he's had in. NYC pretty much goes with Cali. emissions rules, so my car has to go on a dyno with a sniffer. But to give this car it's due it does runs stronger and smoother than any Quest I've had , and I had one new off the showroom floor.

  6. If no one else ahead of me takes them I will.
  7. Have one in NYC, Staten Island to be more exact, that you are welcome to come and take. A few dent and such but pretty solid.
  8. I was going to keep it, but................. I could be talked out of it. Shipping would be quite the pain though.
  9. PM's answered. Looking to sell motor complete for now.
  10. Entire interior is sold. I won't pull apart the motor just for the TPS it runs too well.
  11. Parting has started. Here's what is gone spoken for: Entire interior Air Dam rear spoiler header panel window & cowl trim mirrors front struts Still has good running engine and lots of other parts. Rather sell stuff to people who need it rather than send it to the junkyard.
  12. Sorry to anyone waiting for pics. I've been getting home after dark every day, hate the end of summer. So it will have to wait until the weekend.
