Didn't over heat. Probably to much boost. I have a very cheap manual boost controller.
I hit 25 psi on accident, pulled over and lowered it. Ran a half a tank before it started smoking.

Sucks man, that's one reason I don't use cheap parts. I had a TurboXS mbc and I was boost spiking bad! I yanked that thing out and got a Hallman mbc. Not a problem since.

Crack wont lower compression. Id be more worried about ringlands if the boost shot higher than tuned
I ran 24 all day every day on my hx40, actually, ignoring that, i have NEVER blown a gasket on a g54, broken plenty of ringlands though lol

Look close at  the top of block for cracks, mainly on exhaust side, head bolts and water holes.

I had a Crack between all of the cylinder sleeves after a head cracking overheat, didn't show up till I tossed the block in the scrap pile and rust formed on the surface.  Then the Crack was easy to see.  Cracked blocks aren't common, but they do happen.

No, the cracks are pretty common. You just have to be lookin for it.

Cracked between the sleeves?

Listen to Randy. Those spots need looked at. Also, those cracks show up on the headgasket a lot of times.

That'll fix it. Forgot about that.
I'll put it in gas, oil, and coolant just to be safe....

Used to blow them all the time, but since putting ARP studs in along with the good FelPro gasket, it's been all good. Running 20+PSI all the time on my little TD06 Super 16G.

You think the felpro is better then the metal head gasket? I'm running arp studs.

Perry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard plenty of arguments both ways. felpro vs. ajusa. Both are good gaskets.

First things first. Tear that baby apart and see what you got going on. Do you have coolant in the oil? Steam out the tail pipe? Did you do a leak down test on the 2 low cylinders?

No coolant in the oil. My son was driving it and seen a lot of white smoke ( coolant I'm guessing) all the plugs were pig rich black.
I do need to do a leak down test before I pull it apart.
