  1. Words almost can not explain how excited I am. I can only hope the deal goes through. A few years ago I was pretty active in the Starquest world with my red 87 Conquest running a cutom built MPI intake and a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo. I sold the MPI setup to Phinko those few years back when I cut my losses and parted the car. It now sits as a roller in Houston Texas. Since then I have dipped into a few turbo DSM's, FWD and AWD, and the lifted 4x4 world which I am currently in. Which brings me to the highlight of my BS... With the help of a friend, I have found an 87 Conquest, Yellow, manual trans, black leather, ALL ORIGINAL untouched unmolested BARN FIND. The story goes a man who worked at a chrysler dealership in the 80's purchased the car brand new for his mother. His mother drove it around untill she passed away and the car was parked in a barn. Thats all the detail I have. The current owner of the car was friends with the man who originally purchased the car for his mother and aquired it when that man passed away. This saturday I go to pick it up if all goes as planned. I am super excited. I will definitely be posting pictures up if and when I get it. Wish me luck!
  2. I have three cars I would like to trade for a decent Starquest, preferably 87-89. I am looking for a DD. My old 87 Conquest was a DD and I loved it. With that in mind, the car needs to run great. Cosmetics are not as important but still needs to look respectable. Car #1 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 4G63 Non Turbo Engine 5 spd Trans 126,000 Miles Runs and drives great, this is my current DD. I rebuilt the engine a little over a year ago. Exterior has a couple "ex girllfriend" dents Left headlight motor is out ICE COLD A/C HEAT TINT Interior is probably 7/10 Will not come with radio Decent Car Clean and Clear title in my name in hand. Car #2 NO TITLE A bonded title can be aquired 1990 Plymouth Laser RS 4G63T Factory Turbo car 5 spd trans 157,000 miles Engine Runs Needs Turbo rebuilt Needs Transistor Needs Right CV axle Project Car, needs work to become a dependable street car. Great foundation for a fast drag car or even a nice MPI daily driver. Located in Elm Mott TX. North of Waco asking $800 83,574 original miles Clean clear title, no rust, good tires, body has a few dings but paint still shines. Black Interior is all there just disassembled in the car. Nice 88 leather seats. Billet radio/gauge panel from outkast. This was an MPI car but intake manifold has been sold. Also has no exhaust manifold or turbo. That means you get to start fresh, no removing old stock parts, just an open invitation or a clean slate to install the parts you really desire! Stock engine harness has been removed. Megasquirt 1 Extra and wiring harness is still in the car intact. As for the engine, it was rebuilt stock due to a spun bearing. Received new oil pump, crank, stock pistons. Needs a cylinder head. Cracked between valves. Was daily driven when parked. 5spd manual trans and LSD are still good. I've got spare parts I'll throw in and a Turbonetics T3/T4 I would let go with it for an extra $150 I would like to make a nice drag car out of it or swap in a 4g63t but just isn't practical for me. I am only 19 and already have 4 project cars. Mom and dad want this one out of their yard. Has MSD 6al box, MSD Blaster 3, MSD wires, Walbro high flow fuel pump.   5. On a stock setup you will have to reconstruct the down pipe since the treadstone manifold made my tubo sit so much lower than stock.
  6. A couple other guys want the fender. Exhaust I can let go for $180. I local shop did it for $300 a few months ago, not mandrel bent, has WG recirc.
  7. Everything but the rear hatch is on the same key. Have only one original key for the hatch. I have the worn out original key and two copies of the key for everything else.
  8. There is a 1G talon tsi at my local pick and pull I could grab the MAS and whatever else you need.
  9. I understand what you're saying KEN, I MYSELF just wouldnt attempt to drive a 20 some year old car that doesnt really have a good reliabilty track record on a 100++ mile trip. There are other newer vehicles I would prefer to drive. And Im not dissing you, I respect that your can has made it this far.
  10. I daily drive mine. I just carry around a pair of pliers,flat and philips screw dirivers, electrical tape, zip ties, oil, ps fluid and coolant. Was stranded once, starter went out. I think if you have to carry around a butt load of parts just to go on a trip, you dont need to be taking that car on a trip.
  11. I have that same exact intake made by Lee as well in polished aluminum. A VERY nice piece.
