blue_crush
well I can just say it's been a long road, due to the shity economy, but it's getting there. Here are some pics and I will post updates as I go. I won't have a fancy digital dash with GPS or keyless entry.... http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/Picture001-1.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/DSC05888.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/DSC05874.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/DSC05872.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/DSC05817.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/006.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/questswap013.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/DSC00279.jpg That is what it was until a few weeks ago.... blue_crush
after alot of measuring and remeasuring, checking and double checking. We cut half of my cage up and some of the floorboard to fit the new frame and 4 link in. then we had to re-install the new cage, we call it version 2.0 and for now it has to wait until I can get some more $$. Next up is the frame for the fuel cell, and then the interior paneling. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/007.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/005.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/006.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/004.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/010.jpgMy brother is making me new door panels out of one piece aluminium and keeping the power windows. Should look sweet once they are all done. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/039.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/040.jpg

blue_crush
I picked up my new set of front runners this weekend at a pawn shop by accident. I was with my father in law looking for an xbox and BAM!! they were sitting their begging to be picked up. So I had to. I also go part of my floor re-installed. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/008.jpgThese are what was holding it up.....my 240 wheels.....(ohhhh snap!) haha http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/003.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/002.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/001.jpg The wheels way above on the previous post were just for mock up...they cost way too much for me..($480 a wheel) The new ones are Greg Weld wheels. I like em! I'm thinking about spacing them out so they come closer to the fender....should I or not? Edited July 15, 2012 by blue_crush
blue_crush
Finally got the new shoes put on the front, and mounted up the fuel cell and wheel tubs. Doing the floor pans is gunna be a complain! I was trying to do a search for other drag cars to help me get an idea for how things can be done....but I didn't find hardly anything so we are just going to wing it!! http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/002-1.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/004-1.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/003-1.jpg

If I were trying to do something like this, I would love to have some help....Only help I have is my brother. were doing the best we can with what we have. mitsusqueeshee
Stumbled upon this thread. Looks complaining'!!! Always wondered what it be like to install a four link, and was always intimidated by the job, but these pics are great, gives me a good idea of how to go about it. Leave it up to SQC.com members to look at these pics, and decide to talk about the intake manifold. Edited April 3, 2010 by mitsusqueeshee

blue_crush
Got my battery box done, standard aluminium. Door panels cut and bead rolled. Had some fun jacken around with the roller and made a mitsu simbol, not sure what I'm gunna do with it yet. Got my new wheels in some time ago (11"x15") with a seriously deep dish!, haven't got the tires yet. Once I get tires I'm taking the axle to Mosier and have it narrowed http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/005-2.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/004-3.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/006-2.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/007-2.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/009.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/010-1.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/whitey240sx/88%20Drag%20Quest/008-1.jpg
