ALL LOWERED STARQUEST POST PICS!

Recommended Posts

BTW, why is Dale's car bottomed out in 4x4 mode??

That's how we roll on the right coast 'Bert.

probably has the dual spring cosmos. http://farm6.staticf...9871b245b_b.jpg

Nope, single spring in the front. It's not that I'm bottomed out on the sleeve, I still have a bunch of room to go lower. I just don't have much more room for suspension travel before I'm excersizing the bump stop, lol.

or is still running the stock top hat above the one for the Cosmos

Cosmo top hats only, at least I'm pretty sure. It's been a few years since I installed everything.

Cosmo sleeve-overs, pretty much bottomed out in the front.

How do you like those sleevovers? Shocks and springs are next on my to do list

If I had to do it again, I'd either stick with just lowering springs, or go all out and get full coilovers.

With the lowering springs you can get away with stock top hats and save a bunch of money, plus it makes life so simple. Bolt on and go.

With the coilovers you get full adjustability of height and dampening, which is nice if you like to tinker or are more serious about road-racing.

The sleeve overs are alright, just a PITA to install. It takes a bit to dial them in, and at the end of the day, they are overly stiff and make for a bit of a harsh ride.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably get the ST springs then.

If anything get cosmos over just springs. Thats what I'm running on my car, mr2 conversion up front only, and honestly they arent that bad. Plus you can adjust the height. If you can hold to save the bucks do it right and get d2s. Edited by Convette

Here it is when I bought it...Previous owner was an r'tard and put the springs in backwards, hence the rake and major front tuckage on just eibach springs.

Here it is now, bottomed out on Ground Control coilovers on Mookeeh struts w/Mookeeh camber plates in rear and pillow ball camber plates up front. I could go further but that would involve removing the top hat or adjustable part of the lower collar and figuring something out that way...Would rather keep the adjustability.

Those are the most beautiful wheels I have seen on a Starquest. Not many aftermarket wheels look good on them, but these.......WOW! why did you get rid of them? I see your sig has other wheels.....
